Worrying about water care is a constant issue when maintaining a traditional swimspa, but with the Hydropool Self-Cleaning System, we take your worries away. The Self-Cleaning System cleanses 100% of the water every 45 minutes. That’s an incredible 8 times in 2 hours! Only a Hydropool has this wonderful technology in place with its consumers in mind. The Self-Cleaning System takes the worry and work away, with a hands free system to safeguard you and your family. 1) Skimmer: Water from the surface of the swimspa is drawn into the high flow skimmer by the swimspa pump. This action skims the surface free of any floating debris and oils. 2) Pre-filter:The pre-filter traps large particles and removes them prior to entering the swimspa pump and heating system. 3) floor vacuum: Dirt sinks to the bottom of the swimspa and is drawn into strategically placed vacuum holes by means of the hot tub pump. 4) Mazzei injected ozone: When mixed with water, ozone is a highly effective oxidizer that assists in removing unwanted contaminates from the swimspa water. 5) Pressurized micro filtration: Almost all of the water drawn by the pump is forced through a 10 micron cartridge filter under pressure. The micro filter removes particles before sending the water back into the swimspa. 6) automatic chemical feeder:Before the water re-enters the swimspa, the water is filtered and is then treated with chlorine or bromine that ensures that the hot tub wateris safe and bacteria free.

Swim Spas - Self Supporting Shell
Hydropool Swim Spas are fully self-supporting, however, a set of steel support legs are utilized underneath the lip on aboveground or crib style installations in order to keep the long edges straight. Many of the competitor’s swim spas do not offer a steel support package and this can lead to bowing once the swim spa is filled with water. The steel support legs completely eliminate any possibility of the swim spa bowing.

Swim Spas - Shell Construction
Four Stage Acrylic, Polymer and Balsawood Shell A special cross-link .187" acrylic provides a colorfast and durable finish. Vinyl Ester is then used to waterproof the entire structure and permanently adheres to the acrylic. Several layers of polyester based fibreglass are applied to make a virtually indestructible hull. A balsawood core is installed to strengthen the entire structure allowing it to move and flex to the constant forces created by the water movement.

No obstructions, no backwash, no turning. Designed with no obstructions, protruding benches or steps in the swim area, our swim spas allow even the tallest swimmer to stretch out and swim to their heart’s content with no fear of kicking a bench or step. This is also useful for proper access and room for caregivers or therapists providing rehabilitation programs.
Our unique tank design provides a wide, deep and even flowing swim channel that creates a natural return for the water to flow downward and away from the swimmer eliminating any back flow. Other manufacturers do not take this into account in their tank and propulsion systems leaving the back flow effect to impede a smooth swim and displacing the swimmer from the swim lane.

Hydropool's Safety Insulating Hardcover is made from durable marine grade vinyl which, when in it's closed position, completely seals the top of the swim spa for improved energy efficiency. The hardcover also includes locks that keep the cover tightly closed to keep unwanted children and pets out of the swim spa for improved safety and security. Please note that the hardcover for the 17' model is a three-section cover.
